May 23, 2015Sometimes back my husband told me about a woman who prayed for 3 and half years that God will use one of her children mightily for nations of the earth. I was so touch by the woman love for God which made her to pray continuously for long time and God answered her prayers, her son is one of the mighty vessels in the hand of God; He is the head of mission to Asia (Gospel for Asia).I know we all want our children to be successful in life and be great but how many sincerely want God to use their children to spread the gospel of Christ? Many think about securing the future of their children by investing in shares, giving them sound education, laying up properties…these are all very good and commendable but how much of prayer investment are you doing in the life of your children?
Mothers…let us pray now for them even singles need to pray for the children that God will give unto you…every girl child is a potential mother. Let us invest prayers into every stage of their life from now on and sow seeds ahead so that it can be well with them all round. I drew up a simple pattern on how I will be praying for my children even before I had a child and this is my own pattern: I usually pray from stage to stage start from the womb, new born, baby, toddlers, children, teenagers, youth, adult, marriage age (right spouse, fruitfulness) and when they become old. My sisters, let us pray all manners of prayer concerning every aspect of their life education, friends, associate etc. I think prayer is the best investment that a mother can give to her children that can make all other investments to show forth.
I want to challenge us this morning to pray for our generation born or yet to be born, it is time to invest in their future. Pray in the spirit and with understanding, don’t be tired of praying. Prayer works…behind every successful child is a fervent praying mother.
‘’ praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—Ephesians 6: 18

A six years old girl said something which has been ringing in my ears
for several weeks now and I thought to share it with us to learn and be
inspired through it. She is the first of her mother and she has a
little sister as well so when the mum was pregnant with the third she
told her mum that she knows it's going to be a boy this time around and
the mum was like how did you know that she simply said "Because I have
prayed about it and 
Oluwatoyin gave her life to Jesus Christ in October 1991 in Ibadan, Western Nigeria at a tender age. She begins to grow in the knowledge of Christ Jesus since then. She is a woman with more than a passion for God and his purpose; a filmmaker, playwright, actor and director who was called into drama ministry and started her own ministry, The Overcomers Evangelical Ministries Intl(a drama/film outreach ministry) on May 3rd 1996 while still in high school. She is a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Science and Technology in Oyo State Nigeria where she studied Science Laboratory Technology/Microbiology.
She is a youth evangelist who had spent many years reaching out to Nigerian Secondary School through an initiative of her ministry "Mission to Nigerian Secondary School" through drama and film before she became a filmmaker in 2005. She produced her first movie in 2005 titled "But for his Mercies" and was compelled to direct her own movie in 2007 due to circumstances beyond her control. She has since directed her own movies and television series in Netherlands where she is based since 2011.
She has hosted and initiated by the prompting of The Lord many programmes to create an awareness and also train on Christian drama; one of such is the yearly "Europe Drama Conference" where participants gather from various European land to be trained in an intensive programme on evangelical drama and film. She has produced evangelical movies in Nigeria and also in Netherlands alongside her husband; Dr. Olumide Fatunsin
She is a passionate woman and a goal getter who loves God with the whole of her being; to her the secret of success in ministry is complete obedience to God and following his leading. She is happily married and blessed with a son.
